Q: What do I do if I miss a class?

A: Let Pastor Rob know you would like the audio from the class you missed. He will give you a URL (Internet address) where you can listen to the teaching.

 

Q: It's hard for me to make it at 8:40am. Can I just listen to the classes on the Internet?

A: No, we are asking students to make at least three out of the four classes each Track. You may request one audio link per Track.

 

Q: What if I'm late?

A: If you are more than 10 minutes late, please use your request for a link for the class and catch up what you missed. The series builds from class one of Track One all the way through class four of Track Four and we don't want anybody to miss out.

 

Q: Why do we keep attendance and wear name badges each week?

A: We keep attendance because we offer a Certificate of Completion for each Track. We ask students either attend all four classes or, at a minimum, attend three classes and request/listen to a link for the class they missed in order to be issued a certificate. We wear name badges to help learn each others' names and to help the teachers who are only with your class once every 8-12 weeks.

 

Q: What if I have questions in class?

A: We have made every effort to find a time for our classes that will fit into most people's schedules. Sunday mornings seems to fit well, but the one problem this gives us is time. We have just an hour to cover topics such as the Holy Spirit or, in the case of another class, water baptism, communion and tithing all three! Because of this, we ask that you hold your question(s) until the end of class and speak to the teacher about it then.

• Please note: Some of our iGrow teachers have responsibilities in the service immediately following the class, so they may have to arrange a time after church or at another time to discuss your question(s). Please don't think they are trying to brush you off if this happens. They really want to take the time to discuss it with you and that is why they are making this suggestion.

Q: What if I have been taught differently than what is being taught in class?

A: What we teach in the iGrow classes we believe to be sound doctrine and each teacher has been required to back up their teachings with Scripture. However, as the sheer number of different denominations demonstrates, there are different interpretations of Scripture. In our classes, we will teach what Vine Fellowship believes as a church, but we are certainly open to futher discussion with you about these matters. Due to the time limitations in class, see previous question/answer, we ask that you schedule a time to discuss your concerns/questions with the teacher after class.

 

Q: What if I have a suggestion for or comment about the iGrow classes?

A: If it is realated to the topic being taught, please discuss it with the class teacher. If your comment or suggestion is about the classes in general, please speak with Pastor Rob. You will also be given a brief survey and comment sheet at the end of each Track.
