At the Vine, we are passionate about praise and worship and we are committed to lead people into the presence of God through singing and playing of instruments. We feel that worship is vital to the life of a believer, and we strive each week to provide an atmosphere for worship through public expression that is; biblical, genuine, and intimate.
Providing an atmosphere: The worship ministry seeks to provide a time and place for people to enter into worship, by expressing themselves through lifting of the hands(Psalm 134:2), singing (Psalm 66:1-2), dancing(Psalm 149:3), kneeling(Psalm 95:6), being face down(Lev 9:24), etc…
Biblical: We seek to have the songs we sing and every aspect of our worship service to line up with the Word of God.
Genuine: We don’t want any part of the worship time to be a manufactured response to the Spirit of God. We want everything that spills forth from us to be genuine and straight from the heart; an overflow of gratefulness for who He is!
Intimate: Worship should be a time when you can speak and connect with God. We seek to provide an atmosphere that will allow you to put aside all your cares, lay them before God, and move in close to the creator of the universe.
Though we seek to provide a place for you to meet with God, worship is not solely about us. Our number one goal is to bring glory to His name, and to see him lifted high! (Psalm 22:3)
- The worship ministry regularly hosts Nights of Worship throughout the year, where we join together for a night dedicated to praise and worship. Watch in your bulletin and church calendar for the next one!
- We hope you’ll join us every Sunday morning @ 10am, as we lift our hearts and voices to worship Him!
There is opportunity to serve in the worship ministry here at the Vine. If you are interested in joining the praise team as a singer or a musician (try outs will be conducted) please contact Pastor Philip
